Foreign Ministry says Russia to respond to sanctions threats
MOSCOW, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Russia will respond to every threat of new sanctions connected with the poisoning of former officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate Sergei Skripal in the U.K., a representative of the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
On Monday, British Prime Minister Theresa May said it was highly likely that Moscow was responsible for the murder attempt using a military-grade nerve agent. She gave Russia until the end of Tuesday to explain its use promising more extensive measures against Russia otherwise.
Earlier in March, Skripal and his daughter were found unconscious outside a shopping center in British Salisbury.
